⚠ IMPORTANT: This update is for the Godex DT4 printer only. Do not apply this update to an EZ-DT4 printer, as it is not compatible & will cause irreversible damage.

Identifying Your Printer Model

The Godex DT4 & EZ-DT4 models look similar, but you can distinguish them by their top label:

• DT4: Black & silver sticker
• EZ-DT4: Black & red sticker

Before proceeding, confirm that your printer is a DT4 model.

Firmware Update Instructions

Follow these steps to update your DT4 printer firmware:

1. Download the Firmware File

   • The firmware file is attached to this article.

2. Run the DownloadTool Utility

   • Open the DownloadTool application.

3. Update the Firmware

   • Click Update Firmware.
   • Browse for the .bin firmware file & select Open.

4. Wait for the Printer to Reset

   • The update will take about a minute. The printer will restart automatically.

5. Initialize the Printer

   • Click the Initialize button to complete the process.

Your Godex DT4 printer is now updated & ready to use.
