Create a Group Type

Group Type administrators can create group types that contain the rules for how groups behave & assign security privileges to other users.

  1. Click Groups > Administration > Group Types
  2. Click New group type
  3. Type a name, description & decide if groups of this type should be public &/or searchable
  4. Click Next
  5. Select group leader / member rights as appropriate for groups of this type
  6. Click Next
  7. Select group leader / member views appropriate for groups of this type
  8. Click Next
  9. Choose other FellowshipOne users who can create & manage groups of this type
  10. Click Next
  11. Choose any custom fields that should be associated with groups of this type
  12. Click Save group type
