Sometimes a check can be scanned & matched to an incorrect household.
When this occurs:

- Go to Giving> Contributions> Contributor Details
- Click Accounts
- Find invalid account
- Click red dash on the right side to delete the account
Note: If there are contributions in the individual/household giving records an error will say that the account could not be deleted because of this. Edit the transactions to change the account to a valid accounts then delete the invalid account.
