There are two ways to delete contribution records in FellowshipOne. Portal users with the Contribution Write access right can delete batches and transaction records without submitting a support ticket.
Option 1: Delete an Entire Batch
If the contribution records are all in the same batch, you can delete the batch directly.
Steps:
-
Go to Giving > Contributions > Batches.
-
Locate the batch you want to remove.
-
Click the gear icon next to the batch.
-
Select Delete Batch.
This will permanently delete the batch and all associated transaction records.
Option 2: Move Transactions to a Batch and Delete
If the transactions you want to delete are spread across multiple batches, you can move them into a single "DELETE" batch, then delete that batch.
Step 1: Create a Batch for Deletion
-
Go to Giving > Contributions > Batches.
-
Click Add a Batch.
-
Name it something identifiable like DELETE.
-
Note: Batch details do not matter since it will be deleted.
-
Step 2: Move Transactions into the Delete Batch
-
Find a transaction to delete.
-
Click the gear icon on the record and select Edit.
-
Change the Batch to the DELETE batch.
-
Repeat for all other transactions.
Step 3: Delete the DELETE Batch
-
Go back to Giving > Contributions > Batches.
-
Locate the DELETE batch.
-
Click the gear icon and select Delete Batch.
This will remove the batch and all contributions inside it.
