How to Delete Contribution Records in FellowshipOne

There are two ways to delete contribution records in FellowshipOne. Portal users with the Contribution Write access right can delete batches and transaction records without submitting a support ticket.

Option 1: Delete an Entire Batch

If the contribution records are all in the same batch, you can delete the batch directly.

Steps:

  1. Go to Giving > Contributions > Batches.

  2. Locate the batch you want to remove.

  3. Click the gear icon next to the batch.

  4. Select Delete Batch.

This will permanently delete the batch and all associated transaction records.

Option 2: Move Transactions to a Batch and Delete

If the transactions you want to delete are spread across multiple batches, you can move them into a single "DELETE" batch, then delete that batch.

Step 1: Create a Batch for Deletion

  1. Go to Giving > Contributions > Batches.

  2. Click Add a Batch.

  3. Name it something identifiable like DELETE.

    • Note: Batch details do not matter since it will be deleted.

Step 2: Move Transactions into the Delete Batch

  1. Find a transaction to delete.

  2. Click the gear icon on the record and select Edit.

  3. Change the Batch to the DELETE batch.

  4. Repeat for all other transactions.

Step 3: Delete the DELETE Batch

  1. Go back to Giving > Contributions > Batches.

  2. Locate the DELETE batch.

  3. Click the gear icon and select Delete Batch.

This will remove the batch and all contributions inside it.
