You may want to email attendees of an Activity for updates about the event. To accomplish this: follow these steps:
- Select Reports
- In the search field, type M1211
- Select *Core Attendance Records (v3.1)
- In section Return these People under the field Occurring within this Time Period:, set date range
Note: Note: You will want to set the date range to an appropriate time that the attendees would have to show up to the Activity in order to receive an email.
5. In section Return Activity Attendance to, select necessary report.
6. In Configure Output, change Create Labels/Temporary Groups using: to "Attending Individual"
7. Change Choose & Output Type: to "Temporary Group"
8. Click Run Report
With that temporary group created, you will now want to go back to the portal.
- Select Groups > Groups by Group Type > View All
- Click Temporary
- Select Temporary Group just created
- Select box on top left of list
- Scroll down & select Gear Icon
- Select Send an email
