Non-Cash Contributions

If a congregant wishes to give stocks as a contribution, you can enter that contribution as a Non-cash Contribution. You will need to manually enter the Non-Cash Contribution into a person's record.
 

1. Go to Giving > Contributions > Enter Contribution
2. Click Select next to Contributor
3. Enter contributor's information
4. Click Search
5. Click Select in front of correct contributor name
6. Beside Attribute to, select Household or correct individual from drop down list
7. Select appropriate Fund & Sub fund
8. Enter Received date
9. In Non-Cash field, enter Stated value
Note: Stated Value - (optional field) the stated value of the donation.
10. Enter True Value
Note: True Value - (optional field) the true value of the donation (for example, an appraisal, hours worked, etc.)
11. Enter Liquidation cost
Note: Liquidation Cost - (optional field) any cost associated with selling the donation item.
12. Enter Memo
13. Click Add contribution
