Give Without Account Matching to Existing Records

When a contributor chooses to use Give Without Account (GWA), the system looks at First Name, Last Name, & Email Address to verify if a record already exists.

  • If there is a match & individual DOES have an InFellowship ID:
    • "Create Account" check box seen here on the Process Payment screen will not show
    • Contribution will be attributed to individual's pre-existing record in FellowshipOne
    • No duplicate record is created

  • If there is a match but individual DOES NOT have an InFellowship ID:
    • "Create Account" option shows on Process Payment Screen
      • If an InFellowship account is created, & the email address used is not matched to an existing email address for the individual, a duplicate will be created.  It will have the status of "New From Online Giving" rather than "New From Website"
    • Contribution will be attributed to individual's pre-existing record in FellowshipOne
    • No duplicate record is created, except in situation described above

  • If there is no match & an inFellowship account is created:
    • New record with the status of "New From Online Giving" is created
    • Email address will be both InFellowship ID & Alternate Email
    • Billing address information will become the primary address

  • If there is no match & no InFellowship Account is created:
    • New record with the status of "New From Online Giving" is created
    • Email address is saved to record
    • Billing address information will become the primary address
