Volunteer Types

Volunteer types are used to designate the type of person serving a particular job. For the most part, you will use the default volunteer types: Volunteer, Staff, or Paid Worker. However, you have the ability to create additional staffing types as needed. Volunteer types affect the Check-In name tag. When you apply a volunteer type to an assignment, the Check-In name tag will reflect the type of volunteer. To add volunteer types, follow these steps:
 

1. Click Admin > Ministry Setup > Volunteer Types
2. Click Add Volunteer Type
3. Add New Volunteer Type
4. Select the Active Checkbox
5. Click Add
