GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation

On account of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) going into effect on May 25, 2018, FellowshipOne has made updates to meet requirements around the end user’s right to access their data, data portability, & right to be forgotten. Details on these updates can be found below. For additional reference material on our company policies as they relate to GDPR.

Right to Access & Data Portability

A new report within the FellowshipOne Report Library, A9201, is now available to all EU-based churches. You may use this report to export data for individuals requesting a copy of the personal information they have previously provided.

Right to be Forgotten

Congregants of all EU-based churches now have the option to request the removal of their account & associated personal data via InFellowship. Within their profile page, a “Terminate Account” link is now available, which takes users to a page that explains the permanent implications of account termination. Once they choose to request account termination, an email is sent to the church’s designated contact address for InFellowship inquiries. Upon validating the request, church staff can contact FellowshipOne support to approve the deletion via an FellowshipOne support ticket. Personal data will be deleted from our system, & a confirmation will be sent to the church for your records.

In cases where the “Terminate Account” link isn’t accessible, the designated support contact can submit a support case to F1Support@fellowshipone.com. For example, if an EU-based church does not use InFellowship, the individual does not have an InFellowship account, the individual wants to delete data for someone they are legally responsible for, or the church is not based in the EU, a support case will need to be created. For more information, please see the FellowshipOne Help Center.

We value the security & privacy of you & your congregants’ data, & these updates will allow for the enhanced protection & management of data needed in today’s online landscape.
