Email individuals from My Contacts

When working in My Contacts, an email can be sent to individuals with a contact item.

Steps to Send an Email

  1. From the Home Page, under My Tasks, click on one of the Ministries, or go to Ministry > Contacts > My Contacts.
  2. Check the box next to the items that you would like to email or click "Select All" to select all items based on the current filter criteria.
  3. Click on the "Select a bulk action" menu at the bottom & select Send an Email.
  4. Compose your email.

Notes

  • If an individual does not have an email address, no email will be sent.
  • If the contact item is assigned to the household, the email will be sent to the Head & Spouse.
  • Sending an email does not update the Contact Item or add a note on the individual's record that they were sent an email.
  • Email history will display other emails sent through the Portal under People > Group Email > Sent Items.
