When working in My Contacts, an email can be sent to individuals with a contact item.
Steps to Send an Email
- From the Home Page, under My Tasks, click on one of the Ministries, or go to Ministry > Contacts > My Contacts.
- Check the box next to the items that you would like to email or click "Select All" to select all items based on the current filter criteria.
- Click on the "Select a bulk action" menu at the bottom & select Send an Email.
- Compose your email.
Notes
- If an individual does not have an email address, no email will be sent.
- If the contact item is assigned to the household, the email will be sent to the Head & Spouse.
- Sending an email does not update the Contact Item or add a note on the individual's record that they were sent an email.
- Email history will display other emails sent through the Portal under People > Group Email > Sent Items.
