Password Reset Feature

FellowshipOne has a security feature to enhance our security protocols. This feature will allow users to update their own passwords outside the Portal. Admins will also be able to trigger password reset emails instead of manually updating a user’s password.

Steps to Update Your Email Address:

  1. Select the account dropdown in the header.
  2. Select “My Account.”
  3. Check your email address under the “Notifications” tab.
  4. Ensure it is current. If not, contact your Champion to update it in the Admin tab.

Password Reset Steps

  1. Go to the FellowshipOne Portal login page & select "Forgot Password?"
  2. Enter your username & church code, then click “Reset.”
  3. An email with a password reset link will be sent to the email address on file.
  4. If you don’t receive the email, contact your Champion to verify your email address.
  5. Click the link in the email to set a new password.

Note for Admins

To reset another user’s password:

  • Go to the Portal home page & click “Portal Users.”
  • Click “View” for the user needing a reset.
  • Click the “Reset Password” button.

Creating New Portal Users

When creating a new Portal user, an email with a password setup link will be sent automatically. If the link expires or the email isn't received, follow the password reset steps to trigger a new email.

FAQs

Will this impact Check-In Stations?

  • Windows Check-In: No impact. Users remain logged in unless they manually log out.
  • iOS Check-In: Similar to Windows. There is no forced password reset unless you log out.

Impact on Other Applications:

The password reset only applies to the Portal. Other applications such as Contributions, FellowshipOne Mobile, Teacher, & Dashboard will not require a password reset unless you change your password within the Portal.
